stablished in 2003, by Eugene Pretorius (Snr),       Eugene Pretorius (Jnr) and Tanya Museler, as an addition to the mining services offered by PGC, this small opencast contract mining company now boasts a fleet of some 50 production units (mainly Volvo and Komatsu), with the capacity to mine upwards of 250 000 tons of coal and 800 000 bench cubic meters of overburden, per month.

Precision Opencast Mining Services specializes in, and has undertaken several, turnkey projects from the prospecting phase, through development and mining, and concluding with a well planned and executed rehabilitation phase, including management of the entire project. The success of these projects have been mainly due to the access to shared resources and mining discplines offered within PGC.
